SAFEGUARDING

Holy Family Parish Local Safeguarding Representative – Jane Chappell

Each Parish in the Archdiocese of Brisbane has been asked to appoint a Local Safeguarding Representative who is responsible for:

  • Making sure that the whole parish is aware of the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Promoting safe practices including articulating for others what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour; and
  • Assisting the Parish Administrator in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Safeguarding  Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy in the Parish

Jane Chappell is a parishioner of Holy Family Parish Indooroopilly and is the volunteer Local Safeguarding Representative. She is happy to hear your suggestions about how we can keep our parish safe and she will listen to any concerns about safeguarding that you may have.

You can contact Jane at any time, on 0435 147 948 if there is any safeguarding matter that concerns you or you just want some clarification. All matters will be dealt with in a sensitive and confidential manner.
